The Story

Started at 17. Still Going.

Zachary Beck started Precision Tints because he saw something missing in the Mooresville and Lake Norman market. Quality window tinting and paint protection film were services people needed — especially in a region with intense summer sun, a massive boating culture, and a growing number of lakefront homes — but the options were limited to chain shops and generalists.

He started the business at 17, learned the craft properly, pursued STEK PPF certification and IGL ceramic coating certification, and built a team around the same standards he set for himself. The result is a shop that handles automotive, marine, residential, and commercial work under one roof.

Today Precision Tints operates out of 131 Crosslake Park Dr, Suite 207, Mooresville, NC with service throughout the western Lake Norman corridor including Denver, NC and surrounding communities.

How We Actually Operate

We are honest. If your paint needs correction before a coating, we tell you. If a service is not the right fit for your situation, we say so. We would rather lose a job than do work that does not make sense.

We do not cut corners. We use STEK PPF, IGL ceramic coatings, and professional-grade window film. The products we use are the ones we would put on our own vehicles.

We are local. Not a franchise. Not a chain. We are from the Lake Norman area, we work here, and we are accountable here. Our reputation means more than any single job.

We back our work. Every install is guaranteed. If film peels, coating fails, or something is not right under normal conditions, bring it back and we fix it.
